Ron Paxton created ExecsCoach out of his desire to support corporate leaders who believe that inspirational leadership, an aligned workforce, and high-performance structures and systems are all required to achieve total organizational learning and performance. ExecsCoach is unique in that our international network of hundreds of executive coaches, leadership development professionals, and OD consultants can provide integrated solutions for expanding learning and performance while improving quality of work life. Ron built these networks over the past 20 years as a strategic management consultant and executive coach, as a mentor coach, and as a leader in the coaching and development communities.

Ronald V. Paxton is President and CEO of ExecsCoach, an executive coaching firm specializing in leadership development, corporate assessments, team building, visionary planning, and change management.

As a strategic management consultant and executive coach Ron has spent more than 20 years assisting business and information technology executives in companies such as Johnson & Johnson, BellSouth, Hoffmann-LaRoche, Wausau Insurance Companies, and AT&T. Ron provides coaching, training, and organizational design solutions that support the foundational basics of mutual trust, effective communications, and alignment around shared goals leading to improved individual and organizational performance.

Previously he was co-founder and CEO of Lateral Leadership, LLC, an executive coaching and leadership development firm that focused on supporting CEO’s and other senior leaders create cultures that engendered trust, collaboration, and breakthrough thinking.

His experience includes leadership of management consulting practices with companies such as: Coopers & Lybrand (as a Practice Manager); Digital Equipment Corporation (Senior Partner); Computer Sciences Corporation (Principal); Unisys Corporation (Principal), and Technology and Business Integrators (Vice President). Prior to his coaching and consulting career Ron spent 12 years with IBM as a strategic planner and IT director supporting more than 5,000 people.

Ron has led leadership workshops, seminars and teleclasses and was an International Coach Federation Conference speaker on corporate coaching. He co-authored a white paper, “Lateral Leadership Stages of Growth – From Trust to Breakthrough Thinking”, and is working on a book on career transformation. Ron currently serves as Vice President for Programs for the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. He previously served as President of the New Jersey Professional Coaches Association.

Ron graduated from Coach U after completing their Certified Coach Training Program, and he has completed extensive transformational training from Landmark Education and QuantumThink(TM) training programs. He is certified by Target Training International as a Professional Behavioral Analyst (DISC Assessments) and Professional Values Analyst (Attitudes Assessments). Ron has extensive 360-degree feedback training and experience. He is also a certified Visionary Planning and Leadership facilitator and coach by Innovation Associates. Ron has a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute and a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science from New York University.
